My experience in implementing Six Sigma was quite interesting. At the time when company has decided to take on their journey and implement Six Sigma just a few had some training. We had weekly team meetings and training on every second week. The training sessions were then followed by project presentations. Some things that did not go right was the luck of statistical knowledge. Although people were ready to learn, the company has hired a consultant who was not capable to teach statistics and as a result, people were frustrated because they could not see the direct benefits and also were not able to apply direct the theory into practice.
Another frustration was that although we had MINITAB, Quality Companion was not available.
