Instructional Design

What we do:

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify what material needs to be developed
  • Develop objectives and ensure the content matches those objectives
  • Revise and rewrite content to shape it for learning needs
  • Structure content and activities for learners
  • Create media to support learning (e.g., visual aids for face-to-face, various multimedia for e-learning and online)
  • Develop assessments and quizzes
  • Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually adapting materials from face-to-face to e-learning model)
  • Assist in the definition of appropriate instructional strategies and philosophies for web-enhanced, hybrid, and full online engagement in meaningful learning
  • Assists in the initial instructional design and continual improvement of for web-enhanced, hybrid, and fully online engagement in meaningful learning
  • Provide project management expertise for the development, and continual improvement, of web-enhanced, hybrid, and fully online engagement in meaningful learning
  • Ensure compliance with: instructional design, copyright and intellectual property, quality assurance, standards in the development of web-enhanced, hybrid, and full online engagement in meaningful learning
  • Support in the integration of mobile learning applications, social media tools, graphics, media files, dynamic content, and emerging technologies to facilitate engaging teaching practices and meaningful learning experiences
  • Conduct workshops, demonstrations, or other technology training sessions: ADOBE, HTML, SCORM, LMS on Moodle, Articulate Storyline.
