Technology has been developed during the last years, but its exponentially deployment was only possible in countries where people had the emotional maturity to work and support their Governments. Without a proper organizational framework that encourages innovation and discovery, the technology would not have been developed or would not have reached its current levels. The environment in which the technology has been developed was the one that required both democratic and ethical principles but it has started from Government levels that was required to issue laws and policies to ensure that ethical principles were respected.

Technology term involves making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a preexisting solution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an applied input/output relation or perform a specific function. It can also refer to the collection of such tools, including machinery, modifications, arrangements and procedures. Technologies significantly affect human as well as other animal species' ability to control and adapt to their natural environments. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas as construction, medical, internet, space etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technology

Due to its large scope, the technology in the Lean Six Sigma environment starts with Education and Training as people have to be made aware about the benefits of technology and type of transformations that societies will be exposed to. Without an understanding of why we use and build technology, the design will be poor for both conceptual quality and its future opportunities for development as they will have a narrow purpose and compared constantly against monetary benefits. The entire community needs to be involved in technology development to understand the purpose and learn about how to use and modify it in such way that its quality is constantly increased to enlarge constantly the scope.

The benefits of working and living in a Lean Six Sigma environment are that the issues are being raised and discussed rather than hidden and forgotten. In an open Lean Six Sigma environment, laws and ethical principles are used to help societies to better develop themselves and increase the quality life of people, animals, environment while creating positive outcomes through the use of technology to everybody’s benefits.
